Kayla, I took your advice about my icon :) lol.
I have high hopes for this summer. Since my (only) class was canceled today, I headed home and filled out applications at the Duck Lake Center (for camp counseling), the YMCA, and at a daycare center about five minutes from my house. I really hope a job involving the Duck Lake Center works out...I have to say, I was most impressed with them. The two women I talked to were extremely friendly and personable, and the job description sounded perfect and lots of fun. At the others places the people were a little dry and unfriendly, honestly. Combined with a fun job and (hopefully) more time up north, this summer would be absolutely perfect!
Getting a decent song caught in my head is number one priority on my list right now:
I have an extremely annoying song caught in my head at the moment; I cant tell you who sings it (because I don't know) but I can tell you it involves the Chipmunks crooning their sorrow over "being sooo lonely and on their own" and some dude singing the prototypical "Baby we belong together" jazz to their backup. Ugh. The most horrific thing I have ever heard...can this honestly be classified as music? No originality, no talent, and worst of all...chipmunk voices?...Really? Someone please, explain this to me.
I really am craving a vegan icecream sandwhich right now. It took all my willpower not to stop at the grocery store on the way back to my house and pick some up. I just dont have even three dollars to spare on something I don't feel I absolutely need.
