Further proof fandom has eaten my brain

Mar 28, 2008 21:32

First, I will say this: I haven't participated in "fandom" really since Xena went off the air. Stuck my toe in the lake off and on since, but not active at all (possibly because I am still bitter over the series finale. Man, can I hold a grudge). But those damn Brits have managed to drag me back in, kicking and screaming, as evidenced by:

1). I got a list of people that would be coming in to meet with our director awhile back, in case they get lost and needed someone to point them in the right direction (not that you can really get that far off direction just walking in the door, but it could happen). I found the list again while cleaning off my desk before leaving the office today and took a good look at it. A name about halfway down the list caught my attention: Diane Owen.

My brain immediately put a slash between the names and the usual "No, you moron, Owen belongs with Tosh!" instinct kicked in, at which point I decided it was definitely time to consider heading home. Or possibly decreasing my caffeine intake. Or both.

2).

Yes, I signed up. And sign-up is still open until tomorrow so if anybody else out there's interested...*nudge nudge*
