Someone I follow on Twitter was selling a toy I've been hankering for at a decent price and I nabbed it! Amazon exclusive Kingdom Terrorsaur will soon be mine~ Not too many more to go before I've got the full first season Maximal and Predacon teams at last. I think I actually only need Primal and Inferno now!
Got some less happy news on that front, though. While I was going through my collection to select characters for the prompt pics, I noticed my Kingdom Tigatron has gone nasty yellow in some places. Premature discoloration, mostly but not exclusively of white plastic, was a problem with Hasbro for a good minute due to whatever formulas they were using. The other couple of toys I have that were considered in danger seem to have remained unscathed but Tigatron... oh, Tigatron. I know there are methods for de-yellowing but I've never tried them and Idk right off how efficient they are for this toy in particular. At least it's a well-known enough problem for this specific toy that I have a good chance of finding some specific advice. That's something I'll be looking into this weekend, I guess. And if it doesn't work, well, I've got some white acrylic paint around here somewhere.
