How 'bout that inauguration?
Over a million people attended, and that's a new level of whoa when you consider that many people who wanted to be there couldn't be. My mom said that there were already people trying to get in and get good seats when she turned on the news this morning at six-something. I'm not sure what time that would be in Washington, but I know it was a good bit of time before the thing started. Do you know what the temperature was? I kinda feel like a hack for watching it on television.
Anyway, awesome speech. If I was more politically savvy I would probably have something interesting to say or be able to pick it apart or something, but mostly I just liked it. I heard Obama wrote it himself, does anyone know if that's true? Either way, well-written and well-spoken.
