Back In Ireland

Sorry about the lag in posts, but I've been uber busy. Munich was ... interesting. My second cousin's bar-mitzvah was so WAY overdone, but it was fun too. More on that later.

First of all, BRIT! I'm THRILLED to hear about working on the film. It's EXACTLY what you've needed/wanted. I think. But it sounds like you're working really hard, and having a great time doing it, and learning more about production than you would in however many film classes you could take. This is a huge, positive step in your career. Good luck, and don't forget to have a blast. Love you!

Meanwhile, I'm having a great time, although I'm so over-budget I'll be paying back money until I start school in September. I have posted about that, right? You all know I'm going to Nova? If I haven't posted the mildly amusing story about how that came about, let me know and I will. So yeah, Ireland. I'm in love. I'm coming back here to live one day. No question. It may even be sooner than I imagined. Once I get my degree I'm going to look into doing my Master's here, and if that works out I don't think I'll be coming back. Ireland is everything I hoped it would be.

I'm in Cork right now, and I'm going to Kilkenny on Monday. Three days in Kelkenny, then I fly back on Thursday. :( But I'm kinda happy, because the money is defintely running out, and I'm exhausted from the travelling and the hostels. I chopped my hair, and it's the perfect cut for me. REALLY short in the back, and fringed all around the front. I love it.

I actually had to go out and buy a new bag. It's a good thing it's within my baggage allowance. I made the catastrophic mistake of walking into a used bookstore. Whoops. Plus the presents. I got my dad a pillow that says "Lord of the Manor". I couldn't resist.

Well, no boys so far, and you know what? I'm deliberately avoiding flirting, bars, and all the rest. I'm having far too good a time on my own to let them complicate matters.

Well, that's it for now. Fa`ilte!
