I had just written a reply when I accidentally closed the window -_-
Anyway, yeah, that's what I've read but if you don't know anything about it I'm starting to get a little worried that it's not true :S
I really liked it. I like that the characters isn't perfect with perfect lives but the show still doesn't make you feel "DEAR GOD WHYYY LET ME DIE". Just the right amount of fucked up lol :P
Btw, did you see the pic Mark Gatiss just tweeted of him and Colin Morgan? Such perfect timing lol.
I was just having a look round the web for an air date. Wikipedia says October. So maybe. Hopefully!! I need my fix now damnit!! And yes, Mark Gatiss is awesome and Colin Morgan is such a sweetie! Ahhh!! :D
Exactly! Sirens successfully managed to be what is probably a fairly accurate portrayal of paramedics at work, without it being depressing as hell. The paramedics that came here the other day, when I phoned an ambulance for my mum, reminded me of Sirens. Very jolly, cracking jokes, etc. :D
Mark Gatiss really is awesome <3 And Morgan really is a sweetie :P I just discovered that he and Richard Madden both graduated from Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama (and isn't that a mouthful) in 2007.
I like the mixture of humour and sorrow/seriousness too, it could so easily be too much of one or the other. I want a second series!
How is your mum btw? Steadily getting better I hope?
Ooh awesome! Two amazing actors went to a mouthful of a school together, hahaha.
Pretty sure there's a second series in the works. There better be! 6 episodes is waaaaay too short!!
She's feeling better yeah, but we went back to the hospital today and her doctor said she can't drive for 6 weeks. She is chomping the bit big time! Dunno what else to say to her now, she's so frustrated :/
Um...is it bad that one of my first thoughts were "oh fic potential"? I swear fandom has ruined my brain.
I don't know, I can't find anything about a second series being confirmed anywhere. I hope so! Was it successful in the UK? In a way I like that tv series aren't like 250 episodes long because it often means that a certain standard of quality can be maintained but at the same time...Six episodes of Sirens?! Three episodes of Sherlock?! GIMME MORE DAMMIT D:
I can understand her frustration :| Give her my best will you, I hope she gets better asap
Nooo... Fandom has corrupted me for so many years now I tend to view it as a blessing now :D
No, a second series hasn't been confirmed yet. Booo. The viewing figures don't look that great but it was quite a word of mouth thing and I should imagine they'll take 4OD's website hits into account too. *fingers crossed* And yeah, I think 13 episodes is a good number (though when it comes to Merlin, 13 is never enough for me >.>)
Well that's a much nicer way to look at it, I must say^^
*In a way I like WHEN tv series, not THAT tv series. Ugh annoying mistake.
Speaking of Merlin, they have finally started showing the third season over here... yeah, so not going to wait for them to show the fourth one this time, I want to be up to date with everyone else. (not that I waited for them for them to show the third series either, I gave up months ago :P Though I am still waiting for season three of True Blood...)
Also, what did you think of Sirens?
