I've taken a number of academic/professional gambles in the past month, large and small, and knowing that they'll all be settled before the end of December makes me ...anxious? excited?
Probably just impatient. It's likely that before 2006 rolls around I will know what I'll be doing with my semester, my senior essay, my summer, and my next three-four years. If I receive everything I've aimed for, I will buy every single person on my friends list a vodka tonic. You may hold me to this.
