Well, I used to have a nice word-count buffer for NaNo. I actually hit the midpoint on Day 10. But then I had a lot of work to do, and didn't work on it for days, and now I've fallen behind. *grumbles*

I did, however, write 2000 words worth of Jake/Heather (from Jericho) fluff. Very adorable, drunk!Heather fluff. Which is kind of begging not

That was so adorable! The kiss was so sweet, and I love the awkwardness that came afterward, when she realized that he wasn't actually leaving immediately. So cute! *squees*

It was like it would be in reality (I had a similar experience once ^^'). That's why I love it so much.

I especially love the "watch out for giant irradiated ants" comment. So awkward! :D And I bet it would be even more awkward if they ever talked about it. (Which I'm hoping they will, and soon. It's been two episodes since that kiss, and IIRC Jake and Heather haven't even been in the same room together since.)

Jericho is such a fun show. Occasionally, it drives my feminist side crazy, but the rest of the time, I really love it.

Isn't the season finale coming up soon?

All that men-power get a little bit boring after a while but then we get some really great scenes and I'm all okay again ;)

Yeah, it's taking way too long for them to actually talk about it. And now that Emily seems to be entering the picture, I'm getting worried.

I just looked it up, and evidently it's not a season finale -- it's just a half-season finale. And it's on November 29, so that means that there's probably only two episodes left, at least until the spring season.

Hm. I think I need a Jericho icon, if this obsession continues.

I like Emily but not with Jake. Hopefully TPTB won't take that road.

Ah, yes,the famous half-season finales... I never understood why the break between the two parts of a season have to be so big.

Well, there are only twenty or so episodes per season, and 52 weeks per year, so if the network only plays one season a year, there has to be some kind of break in there. Doesn't make it any more fun for those of us watching it, though.
