How is Christmas already in 5 days? Because it's veryveryvery sneaky and crept closer when folks weren't looking!
Thankfully, everything's done (Christmas shopping wise) and now I can just ... dread the end of the 'Tis the Season stories I've been doing at morethanacandle.
Which reminds me, I'd meant to tell you that the icon of Obi-Wan in the Santa hat you made for me years ago? Still being used at morethanacandle and being delighted in; it's become a tradition, since that icon landed there, that there be an Obi-Wan-in-a-Santa-hat story every year around this time. -L-
I am jealous of your Christmas shopping management! It helped we had a rough idea of what to get people well beforehand! -L- We also took advantage of sales in the past couple months! -L-
I still have present for one person and a Christmas tree left to get tomorrow. I'll have my fingers crossed for you!
I hope 'Tis the Season stories writing is going well! :) Oooooh, they've been going brilliantly! My measure of 'brilliance'? When someone gets a very warm, happy Christmas-y feeling from those stories and I've managed to evoke that for people with 'em!
Tee hee, glad to hear that icon is still active this time of year. There can never be too much Ewan. :D No, you can't! It's also such a lovely tradition to have!
It helped we had a rough idea of what to get people well beforehand! -L- That's always good & useful. I also make everyone say what they want. Except for my brother in law, who is not picky as long as it's chocolate, bless him.
When someone gets a very warm, happy Christmas-y feeling from those stories and I've managed to evoke that for people with 'em! Aw, yeah. That is the most amazing part! :D
That's always good & useful. Oooh yes. Hugely; we made a list of what to get some folks, various ideas of what we'd like to get.
Usually, though, we're not so organised; this is the first year we have been.
I also make everyone say what they want. Except for my brother in law, who is not picky as long as it's chocolate, bless him. That's a nice way to do things and your brother-in-law sounds like someone I know; does your brother-in-law like dark chocolate?
Aw, yeah. That is the most amazing part! :D Oooh yes! It amazes me that something I began on the spur of the moment last year has managed to do that for folks this year.
