Never read fan fic for Life. The show was always enough, and I thought we had time to get to the good stuff. :( Guess I could give it a go.
But I must say, I do love how they ended things with Charlie/Dani. :D

That was a gorgeous moment where, I confess, I SQUEE'd! And was hoping for a kiss between them then.

I love that moment because for me that's the moment when Dani Reese realized she's in love. :D She was so completely smitten by Charlie, and with what he did, exchanging himself for her freedom like that.
Just fantastic. &hearts
And him looking at her.
And then at the sky and smiling happily. Great parallel to the first episode when he just got out of jail and started the job again, and also looked up at the sky like that.
