1) I am under attack! Ants are attacking my computer desk every morning. Resilient little bastards! I try to collect and flush down the toilet as many of them as I can every day, but they just keep coming - and stronger in numbers.
But I shall prevail!
2) Dear season 3 of
Torchwood - get here NOW.

Possessive Jack, I like it!
Oh Ianto, don't look so emo. *pets*
3) Dear
Prison Break,
we have to suffer through pregnancy storyline and we didn't get to see any hot fugitive sex?!
That is NOT acceptable!!
I wasn't even aware those two are having sex!!
I'm been waiting years, let me repeat that - years!!! - for those two to get it on.
SHOW US, bobdammit!
In other news - Alex kicks ass.
4)
Smallville - Stiletto
1) Good episode. Not the best ever, the script had flaws and the pacing was a bit weird. But it wasn't bad.
I think I enjoyed
Dries's Clex episodes a lot more than episodes that focus on other characters. Nemesis rocked so much, and is to this day one of my favourite episodes. But she seems to be having problems with other characters at times, and her scripts can sometimes be a bit cringe worthy, especially the dialogue. Not that I think the rest of her episodes are bad, but I just know she can do better, so it's frustrating.
2) Oh
Lois!
Ha ha ha ha. ♥
So many things I love about Lois were shown in this episode.
She takes every opportunity that presents itself and try to get the best out of it. Sometimes without thinking, and that gets her into trouble, like it did this time. But that is such typical Lois Lane behavior!
What I *loved* about this episode is:
1) she got called on it - both for fake story and for putting herself and others in danger. Several times.
2) she realized that her plan was wrong, and in the end dangerous, and she admitted it.
3) she took action to help clean up the mess she created.
4) she learned something from this.
In one of my previous reviews this season I had a mini rant how characters never get called when they do something wrong on the show, and how much I hate that. And here they didn't do the same mistake with Lois.
I love that she was shown as flawed. It just makes her all that much more interesting.
I love that her original plan wasn't just to get published, but more as means to establish Stiletto as a hero so she'd have a way to get to RBB. When she wants something she goes after it with everything she gets her hands on. What was it Clark said once - pit bull with a pant leg? :)
I don't think she realized how such fake hero story and identity could get out of hand, but as soon as she did, she had no problems killing the story.
She ran to find Jimmy when she thought he was in danger.
When she saw Clark there she did the reasonable thing and called 911.
And when her phone didn't work she found the courage and jumped in to do the rescuing herself. How amazing was that leap, cause that looked a loooong way down for a normal human. ♥
Loved how she admitted the truth to Chloe.
Loved how she apologized to Clark. And how amazing was that scene? ♥ So much care and feelings, and food snatching. lol And Clark milking his "injury", hee.
And I especially loved that last scene.
Lois finally gets what she wanted all along - first contact with RBB, and a chance for exclusive. And what does she do - she offers to become his friend. Aw.
Such bloody amazing scene!
I can only imagine what was going through Clark's mind. He knows how much she's been going after RBB and how much that story would mean to her. He's also used to people who know him accepting him as a hero. But here is Lois, who accepts RBB without knowing it's Clark, without knowing anything about the Blur, other than he saves people. It's a great way for him to see that people will accept him, and it will make it easier to "come out" one day, when he gets him double identity all set.
Fantastic set up!
3) How brilliant was
Clark in this episode?
A true hero.
When he jumped to take that bullet & save Lois - that said everything. Powers or no powers, it's underneath what counts. It's his heart what makes him a hero, not his powers. (See, Lana, that is what you *never* got right!)
4) Loved the
Lois/Clark/Jimmy rescue scene. They work so well as a team, watching each other's backs! Fantastic team work there. I'm hoping we'll get lots more of that next year.
5) Hate what they're doing with
Jimmy.
Seriously, addiction storyline is the best you came up with? Such waste of his character.
6)
Chloe.
Dear Bob, what is she doing?!
I said the last time that if she doesn't warn Clark and JLA and someone gets hurt that I'll consider that blood on her hands as well.
Well, Mrs Macbeth, we saw your bloody hands.
How the hell does she think she's helping? Helping whom?!
Why is she playing house with Davis and calling to check if he's in the basement? Like those doors could hold anyone in. Like we saw - they can't.
She knows him staying with her isn't stopping the transformation. So why is she dumping bodies in the dumpster instead of warning Clark and JLA?! Doomy is here to kill Clark - she knows that. She's the Watchtower - it's her job to warn them. They need to know, to be ready to stop Doomsday because it *will* come to that.
Just admit you fucked up and ask for help, stop protecting the serial killer! Hoping for the best will not make it all magically go away.
All the tears in the world are not making me sympathetic to you, the solution is really bloody simple! There is no other way this could play out. And doing nothing does not make you a victim, but an accomplice.
Maybe, in retrospect, when the season is over - and if they had balls to actually have her pay for all the screw ups and have her face some consequences - I'll enjoy this storyline a lot more. It's dark. I love dark.
But this is Smallville, they do stupid stuff and then pretend it's no big deal. I still remember how they dealt with Lana last season.
If they do that with Chloe here - I can't accept that.
She crossed the line.
I want serious consequences.
7)
Intergang - season 9 villains?

9) I have a feeling the rest of the season is gonna be all dark and gloom, so this episode was more than welcomed.
3 more to go. Anyone else getting excited?
