Eden

Our precious Eden
Is overrun,
With weeds and vines
Of evil roots
Planted by your trembling hand.

Our caring guardians
Are failing,
To protect and declare
The lies we made,
Whispered by your reckless voice.

Our wondering minds,
Have forgotten
Of words and of memories
From our childhood days,
Watched by your wandering eyes.

Our horrifying dreams,
Are nightmares
With riddles and death
Familiar faces,
In your twisted mind.

November Angels

You are like November
Pretty in white
Your dazzling dress
A gown of snow
Blanketing the fields

You are like November
Quiet and alone
Your pensive mind
Is a thousand minds
Sleeping in the night

You are like November
Desolate and cold
Your prying hands
Are like the winds
Blowing at the leaves

You are like November
Innocence with wings
Your life-like wings
Are a thousand snowflakes
Dancing in the air

Your Love

Love is like a raging river
A tributary of life’s passion
But all that flows
Is fallen Cashmere tears

Love is like soft-spoken voices
A statement of my obsession
But all that is whispered
Is a great deal of nothingness

Love is like high-crime piracy
A life on the high seas
But all that is stolen
Is broken hearts

Tattered Sunshine

I try to drown myself, in anything I can find
Tattered sunshine and cobwebs litter my broken mind.

Like forgotten tastes of green tea and cappuccino ice cream
I faintly feel you with me, swimming through my dreams.

And then suddenly you’re gone again
As if you’re sorry for all those horrible sins.

As a slow moving picture film, black and white to my eyes
We become the words we never want to hear.

comment, god damnit.
