i just can't walk away
i did done sprung cleaned today!
i'm so excited i can't even speak prperly, apparantly.
sorry for the late update, but i have been busy - readings, lectures, assignments, etc etc. hell, i've even managed to revive my flagging social life in there, going to parties and such. LIFE IS SO HARD. so today i bummed around the house, if by bummed you can mean ran around like a possessed demon doing dishes and cleaning out two boxes+ of crap. i finally got to the last two plastic crates of crap i haven't gone through in literally years, and my plastic drawers o' crap, and culled it ALL. two crates plus two drawers are now 3/4 crate and two drawers. and a quarter-full recycling wheelie bin sitting outside. it feels soooo good to get rid of stuff, as i'm kind of excited about moving in November. because this house is crap. so i'm kind of... preparing. several months in advance. i also took a bag of old books down to the donation bin on the way to the supermarket. this is a good thing, considering one of my shelves just collapsed and is beyond repair. damn my habit of stacking books on top of more books! i'll wait until we move to get a new bookcase, i think. there's not really anywhere here to keep it, and we usually end up doing a dump run every time we move, so i can get rid of the broken one then.
oh yeah, it's my birthday in a couple of days. it's funny, but it's not that i'm excited about. HARRIS AND LOU COME HOME IN THREE DAYS YAYYAYYAYYAYYAYYAYYAYYAYYAYYAYYAYYAY!!!!!

and now, i think, to top off my day of productivity, i'm going to go knit. and NOT watch the shit-tastic telethon that's on right now. DAMN YOU AND YOUR 23 HOURS OF SHITE.
