hi! quick post, drunken... uh... entire chemistry dept coming my way. XD heh. including Russian lecturers who were refused service at the foundry. woo! XD

i think i got promoted today! uh, apparantly i'm taking over the magazines at work. as in, Raelene is, i think, taking over stationary from Laraine (leaving manager), and apparantly, i've been nominated as replacement. replacement for the woman who's been there for, like, ever. wth? not that i'm complaining, i like doing the magazines, i even like doing the freaking paperwork - it's just scary! i'll be in charge of one of the three depts the store is made up of! there were suggestions from Neville (owner) today that they could work out some kind of job-share system for when uni goes back, which is how i figured out this was Serious Job (they don't actually come out and say, "hey! you're promoted!", they just suddenly give you all these jobs and go "oh yeah, you're going to have to jobshare during uni, but we think we can work it!" O_o)
so yeah. and i've been told off for agreeing to too many hours at work, lol. so no worries about working more than 5 days a week (except if there is a major tuesday emergency.) i'm getting the leaving manager's hours over summer, so arount 30 hours a week, tuesdays and saturdays off, though i've been asked if i can be an emergency cover person for tuesdays as i'm... like... the only person not working that day already. lol.
so yeah. apparantly i rock. and stuff.
where's chris with that juice for my rum?
PS: no, i haven't studied for my exam on monday. not a jot. whoops! guess that's sunday night planned... XD
