I love markers!!

I had some prismacolors, but I find copic markers much much better :) you should test them if you have the chance!

Oh yes.... I've always wanted copics. *drools* But they're so expensive, and I got these for free... so I figured I would test these out to see how I liked markers before I spent the big bucks :D

I figure if I like the prismacolors, it's a safe bet that I'll like copics, too :)

Ohh, you'll definitely like them!

I buy them cheaper from this site: http://oozak.com
They've just increased the price (in august) but before that it was way cheaper compared to other stores.

I prefer copic sketch markers. But if you want to save some money you can buy copic ciao markers... they're almost the same, the only difference is that you can refil the sketch markers and the ciao you can't. :)

I didn't buy a set, I bought each one separately :) I can tell you I spent HOURS looking at the colors trying to decide which ones I'd use the most. It depends on the style of your drawing and coloring ( ... )

I want this set: http://oozak.com/proddetail.php?prod=COPS72B-PC (with all the flesh and natural tones that would be perfect for hair and other things.....) but it seems currently unavailable. Not that I could afford it now anyway.. ah hah D:

Maybe you can buy them slowly, like I said. You'd be starting your collection while inside your budget :) I agree with the flesh and natural tones, they're the best!

Great idea! I went and bought 6 markers on Saturday. When I went to the store, I wasn't expecting the store to have copics, so I wasn't prepared... and spent about 30 minutes choosing colors! (LOL! I think my mom thought I was nuts! She was trying to help me pick and then was like, "Never mind, I don't really know!" after I rejected her choices... LOL!) I ended up with all natural tones so I could get going on drawing people (which is mostly what I draw.)

When I got home I compared them to those charts you sent me. 4 were on the first one, and 2 were on the other one, so I figure I did a decent job!! Next time I'll be more prepared!!

Thanks for all your help!!
