"Someone once told me that love would all save us; but look what love gave us: a world full of killing and blood spilling... that world never came."
( Wise words, if I do say so myself. )
I saw the most horrible thing unfold before my eyes today: a wreck. I've never seen one in person, aside from the one I was in, which wasn't bad. Minimal damage to the cars, and nobody was hurt. I have a feeling someone may have died, or at least been very seriously injured, in the one I saw tonight. It was so close... it was the most terrifying thing I'd ever seen. That one second, the one when I realized the inevitability of the crash, was the worst feeling I've ever felt. I felt powerless, and the need to do something. But of course, I couldn't. Then the police, and ambulance came. They peeled some poor person out of the mangled car, put them in an ambulance, and drove off. How terrible. How awful. I hope that person is okay...
Winter is truly beautiful. If I had my way, the world would be plunged into an eternal winter, complete with snow and grey skies.
