These characters have great humanity, energy, and life - in my opinion. There's some comedy, some pathos, some adventure - really everything in there.
It's a fabulous series so far and if you're missing it, you need to stop that.
Word of warning, although it's eventually Harry/Draco (we're promised), Draco starts out with someone else. And a girl. Still, it's such a very worthwhile read - you won't be sorry.
