well...
...i had a really nice weekend catching up with some of my beloveds, drumming and hanging out. i've been driving on these long trips lately... western MA, Maryland... the car time alone is nice--just me, music, and whatever my brain throws at me to ponder. those things that come up are related to what i'm doing in the world, how i spend my time. lately i've just been picky about who i'm spending my time with and what they mean to me; and what i think i mean to them... what i bring to their existence. perhaps it's all related to my new role as a parent and thinking about what i'll be able to share that has brought all this up. maybe.
