Where the heck have I been! I almost completely forgot I had a computer with internet access. Sad, isn't it? Anyway, for anyone who cares here is a update on my life.
Over Thanksgiving I went to Virginia and spent three weeks with my family up there. Came home and about a week later I found out that my cousins husband died of a drug overdose. That sucked. Him and my cousin were in the process of divorcing. She now lives with us along with her 2 year old daughter Samantha. I love that kid more than I can put into words. Her mom has a boyfriend down here and hangs with him most of the time when she isn't working so I have taken it upon myself to give Manthy (short for Samantha) a fun and happy childhood. I took her to see Santa Clause and she freaked. I took her to the zoo and she had a blast. And, daily I take her out, to see the "horseys" down the street, to the park, shopping, etc. She is so freaking cute. We have taught her to call me Tippy instead of Tiffany but she can't say Tippy for some reason. Instead, it comes out "Bitty". If I were a bit smarter I would put up some sound bites on here but I'm a dumb butt.
Christmas was good here. I'm not the type of kid to get a HUGE present for Christmas. My mom told me this Christmas we were broke so don't expect anything good or a lot. She told me she got me one thing and that was it. I know we're a bit strapped right now so I was cool with it and that is what I expected. I open my gift and what do I find, a printer. I was really excited but at the same time baffled because I haven't been using the printer much. Then she tells me to open a second box sitting there and to my surprise, inside that box sat a brand new LAP TOP COMPUTER!!!!! Best Christmas present EVER!
Then, last week on a Friday night at about 5:00 my mom says you need to come and wash and clean your truck and if it doesn't get done tonight you need to get up at 6:00 in the morning tomorrow and do it because you have to go shopping with your dad. Baffled again by the sudden interest in my trucks' cleanliness I say ok but ask why it needs to be clean to go to the grocery store. It turns out we were going to the CAR store. I ended up coming home on Saturday with a 2002 Chevy Cavelier. WOO HOO! We had a price limit but I got to pick out the car myself.
I started school on Monday of this week. Currently I am enrolled in History of Photography and Color Fundamentals. I talked to my photo professor and he said that I don't have to take "topics photography", which I thought was required. Another teacher teaches it and I didn't really want to take him. It turns out that I can take Advanced photography 2 or 3 times and it counts towards my 20 credits in photo. The class is full now but he said he would sign a waiver to let me in if I chose to take it this semester.
To those who have contacted me lately:
Kris, thanks so much for the letter and photo! You have no idea how excited I was to get it. I need to write you back really bad and I appologize now for not doing it right away. p.s.-- i showed the photo to my cousin and she thinks you are really talented and pretty.
Dustin, thanks for the text message about missing me. I miss you too, more than you'd probably guess. I need to write you a letter too.
Marianne, I got you two kissing pigs from Wal-Mart and my mom was supposed to give them to you. They were so cute. They had magnets in the lips and they kissed and made a kissing sound, but when Samantha tripped the other day and busted her forehead open on a stepping stone over at Dave's house, I met Alisha at the hospital and I gave them to her to cheer her up. Sorry, but I will get new ones to you soon. Love ya and hope everything is good with you! Oh yeah, I hope you read this too. You have probably given up on reading this journal. Ha ha.
