Alright I figure I'll make a whole new entry about the kite festival just to make sure everyone see's it. It's at Callingwood Park 69 Avenue & 177 Street behind the Jamie plant YMCA arena. Tomorow is the last day and when they typically have all the rad sales.
There is a kite sales guy there who is really cool and doesn't gouge (he's from airdrie) so if you want a proper like direction-y kite bring like $25 or so bucks or if you want the classic flying in the sky on a string kite they have them for wicked cheap...or they did when I was at the Calgary kite festival 2 years ago...I'm pretty sure they do the same setup everywhere.

Summers only so long suckah's and if tomorow is anywhere as nice as today is any excuse to get outside is a good excuse...even if it's not windy you can come and watch the guys with the crazy low wind kits (my brother in law has one...it can be flown inside a gymnasium?!)
