I can't let the day go by with out commenting on how cool today's xkcd strip is. Paleontology for the win!

I love it! And yes, I was into dinosaurs bigtime when I was a little girl. Other girls played with dolls, I played with toy dinosaurs.
My historical geology prof in college was a friend of my parents'. When I was 6 or so, he gave me my first fossil, a brachiopod he'd found on a dig. Later, when I was a college student in his class, he made a comment about how lots of kids are into paleontology when they are young. Most grow out of it, but some don't. *Grin*
