My Samhain
Last night I hung out at tanrinia and seamus_mcnasty's place for beggar's night. They had the whole 'Nawlins thing going; it was really cool.
Then unnamed525 and I went back to my house for a dumb supper to honor my ancestors. I set a place for the ancestors and we ate in silence. I got sweet potato pie in honor of my grandmother who passed almost a year ago. You can’t get more Southern than sweet potato pie. I really like having a simple dumb supper on Samhain. I had also been planning to read tarot after supper but we were both really tired and ended up going right off to bed. It was a good night.
