New computer!
unnamed525 hadn't slept well the day before and was tired, so we didn't go out goth dancing Friday night. Oh, well. Maybe we can do that after Outland, the local goth club, reopens. Instead we went out for Chinese, and then watched a movie. My current Netflix movie, The Notebook, was scratched and wouldn't play, so I introduced him to sex, lies, and videotape, which he had never seen. He seemed to like it, and even quoted from the movie after it was over. Ah, another convert! rubs hands maniacally
Saturday I spent almost 7 hours packing and organizing. I packed up all my books, and took three boxes of books to resell at Half-Price books. I feel very accomplished.
And today, thanks to the wonder of osugaragesale, I am coming to you courtesy of a new (to me) computer. My old compter was 7 years old and very, very slow. And then the monitor quit working about a month ago. After buying the house I really don't have the money for an entirely new and up-to-date computer, but this 2002 vintage seems to work just fine. So, yay!! Now I hopefully will be able to make more posts and comments, and actually get more work done during work hours.
