What 2005 will bring, and my resolution

Jan 03, 2005 12:11

In 2005 I will:

- itemize my taxes for the first time ever
- make the biggest purchase of my life so far
- become a landlord (lady/person)
- move into said purchase
- set myself up as an LLC
- get my eyes fixed

Holy Mother and Father, and Assorted Aunts and Uncles! This might be one of the most significant years of my life, in terms of Momentous Things happening. I'm overwhelmed looking at it all.

I had been telling everybody that my New Years Resolution would be to find a Someone Special. I still want to do that, but looking at that list of stuff I'm going to be doing this year it looks like I have enough on my plate without resolving to add more. Not that I'm going to stop looking or trying, but I'm not going to put the New Years Resolution pressure on it. It was kind of a facetious resolution anyway.

So I have decided to make but one Resolution this year:

I resolve to rebuild and maintain a consistent hatha yoga practice.

"Consistent" will of course change according to my needs and available time. It probably means a bare minimum of an hour practice every other week during really busy times. It will definitly mean not letting it go for months for lack of time. There will be no compromises on this. I will need to do this to build the strength, posture, and flexibility to give regular massages without pain.

Plus it will help me deal with the stress of 2005 being a Very Big Year.
