Please don't confront me with my failures I have not forgotten them
So I moved in today...so far, the only good thing that happened was I got to use the freight elevator to help move in (beautiful, let me tell you). Other than that...yeah. The room has two (count 'em) outlets with two sockets each in the room and one socket on each of the wall lights, so there's a total of six sockets in the room. This=BADNESS. It makes arranging the room a bitch, to put mildly.
And speaking of arranging the room... I can't finish arranging the room because they didn't have any of those stupid little peg thingies and I couldn't get at anyone who had them, either. So I can't do as much rearranging as I want because I can't loft the things I want to loft. And now I have to go and bully someone into helping me because I get the stupid pegs TOMORROW, after all the help I brought today to help me is gone.
Because I can't finish setting up the furniture, I can't put all my stuff away, so I'm stuck sitting admist massive amounts of boxes. And this means digging through boxes for things like clothing and computer things and whatnots.
Ah, that reminds me. Know how I said that there was four outlets? Yeah, the internet jack is allllll the way by my roomy's closet, about as far as it can possibly be from the outlet on the otherside of the room--which is, of course, where my computer is. There's no WAY that my ethernet cable will reach that. So either I buy a new one or I use the wireless that they claim is up (current, wireless=very much down and not working). Which is why I am currently sitting in the design classroom writing this.
And on top of all that, I smashed my fingers numerous times, so it was just frosting on the cake.
I think I'm going to eat something, put some books away, and then watch some random feel-good DVD and try very hard not to think about things like the upcoming play and my dorm room.
