And the verdict is....
GUILTY!
I just talked to the procsectuing attorney today (like 5 minutes ago), and the mooks who mugged me nearly a year ago pleaded guilty to assualt and larceny (a 10 year sentence) and assualt and assisted larceny (a 5 + year sentence). This is a lower sentencing that origanally gone for, but if we would have gone after the bigger sentence, the one with the assisted larceny would have walked with only a battery charge, which is only community service for 3 years.
Luckily the attorney that was on my side made them take the plead in which they took.
Apparently they fessed up to attacking me, because "I was different looking from them" and that "My look pissed them off" and the stealing of my belongings was an afterthought, but they took it anyways...
So yeah... I technically was a victim of "racial violence". because I dress in black t-shirts, wear chuck taylors, blue jeans and wore a black military cap...
Go figure. Never thought that would happen to me..
