My new hero

As most of you probably know, I pay a great deal of attention to politics, both national and international. I've always held that the government's job is to foster a safe, economically strong, civil rights-supporting environment, where nobody is granted special powers or benefits through connections to those in power. Obviously that is an overly utopian ideal, however for the most part that has been the case with the US. Yes, there will always be those who benefit through lobbying and donations to political campaigns, but seldom has it been so blatant and morally reprehensible as we have seen in the last 3+ years. You can argue all you want for Republicans and their general ideals (smaller gov. and less taxes, basically less beauracracy), but recent history has shown that the current president is more concerned about his conservative religious beliefs than anything else, and that is dangerous territory.

I need him to be gone to feel good about this nation, and that is why this man is my newest hero:
