It's hard enough translating, but throw in names and cryptic references to shadowy organisations and incidents that happened in the past, and it gets ten times harder. Yesss, I loved reading about Shingen and Seitarou as well! They're both such cunning old foxes, and they have so many tricks up their sleeves, haha. I never thought of Shinra and Namie's relationship that way, but now that you mention it, it is clear why Namie chose to rely on Shinra to operate on Mika! The light novels really are the best.
