I am currently raising funds, looking for any assistance to cover Tiger's vet bills. He is a ham of a cat that I took in recently. He came with the home I rented - the previous tenants just left him there! Normally he looks like this
Click to viewHe recently got into a big fight resulting in scratches and a large bald spot to the top of his head and bite wounds to his right hind leg that left him unable to stand on the leg due to it being swollen twice the normal the size with infections.
Post surgery he looks like this
He required surgery to relieve the pain & infection. He currently has a drainage tube in his leg and stitches and a couple more vet visits ahead of him to make sure it's all healing properly.
He has his current shots but still needs to be neutered so this doesn't happen again and he can happily be a lazy indoor kitty. With constantly rising costs in day to day life and economic crisis in the work place (no raises or bonuses for us this year but at least I have a job!) I have not been able to get this taken care of.
He's a real sweetheart that deserves a good life! Despite being injured he still rolls around to get a tummy rub until he accidentally bumps the leg. Right now we call him "Hoppy" as he works his way around the house on 3 legs.
