Disappear By Flying

Feb 28, 2009 00:42

Her will to move on, slips further away.
The hope of her dreams, fall also astray.
Where is she now?
What will she do?
Left in the dust, so no one would know.

The mice run on the wheel
The cat chases her meal
The dog lays asleep
As the fish did so too
In the silent room, where only they now creep

Darkness dawned, the lights still out
The room still empty, she was out and about
Her computer was off
The phone disconnected
Even her mobile was dead, all around the clock

Time went on, still no one heard
Holding out her arms, as if she were a bird
Up so high
The wind in her face
It was too late now, for those bitter goodbyes

Slipping a note inside a plastic sleeve
Protecting the from when she will bleed
With one deep breath
And a step on the ledge
It was time now, to come to her death

A smile crossing her lips, a tear in her eye
She lent over the edge, her arms out wide
30 stories, 20 stories
10 and 5
Her smile stayed strong, until she hit the ground

Her note soon found, written her goodbyes
I'm sorry, I tried, I couldn't do it, and died
So now I disappear, where I no longer fear
But for once in my life
Although it my last
I finally felt
That I wasn't dying
