I'm not here for arguing, just discussion.  Only because I'm curious, love a good convo, and there are many things I just don't understand.  Plus, I see no sense in arguing what I feel.  I have no facts, I might actually have very little logic, but I know what I feel, and to me that can't be helped and shouldn't be apologized for...

I think I come from the same perspective. It's like trying to remember when you found out the tooth fairy wasn't real. Where was the point in my life that I realized I didn't see people as different, but equally capable of living and loving just like myself. Maybe I was not "conditioned" to become a supporter; instead I was conditioned to accept everyone. My parents (although multi-racial) never said derogatory comments toward anyone (at least in front of me). This overall acceptance has followed me through my life and has given me the insight to pause before I make assumptions about people.

And as for not going to church...I know people who are very religious but are accepting and tolerant to all. Some people just choose to pervert their religion for personal gain, and that is sickening.
