Fahrenheit 9-11

Today, I went to the Green Zone PX to pick up the merchandise we needed badly after we almost ran out of stuff. At the store, I couldn't believe what they were selling: Fahrenheit 9-11 on DVD! So, I bought a copy of the movie along with the October ish of Maximum PC. I've managed to watch the entire movie, and the one scene that touched me when Moore interviewed a mother, whose son was killed in Iraq in a chopper crash. I remember when I went on leave back in August and my mom basically feeling that she misses me so much, and when I suggested her to watch the movie... well, she didn't want to talk about it, and that she wants me home so badly.

Anyway, back to the movie. Moore is telling us that basically, we're fighting in Iraq because not only did Dubya want to finish "what Daddy started", but also to help out his ass-kissers, namely Halliburton (which owns Kellogg-Brown-Root, the people who gave our camp the best damn DFAC in the combat zone) and the oil business as well. But the one when he interviewed us soldiers, was the kicker.

To those who dismiss the film as propoganda, the REps got propaganda in the form of Fox News and Clear Channel.

At the store, we got major changes. SFC Cadematori (I call him SGT Caddy) is now the new boss of our store, with SSG Paules as his assistant.

That's all for now...
