Summary: Something I wrote after I got my spelling words in GT English back in 9th grade.
Author's Note: This was my second attempt at humor and my first "successful" fic. Yeah for some reason this went over really well when I first posted it. While the writing isn't great the idea isn't a that bad as far as humor fics go. I meant to make a series of these but I never got a list of spelling words that fit so well together again. Such a shame. (Also I never remembered to find out the same of Goku's weapon and I'm not fixing it now so you can see how ditsy I was. I posted it this way.)
Hakkai: Hello everyone and welcome to: HAKKAI’S VOCABULARY CORNER! Today we’ll be learning ten words that everyone should know. Let’s start with blight.
Gojyo: Blight?
Hakkai: Yes blight. Blight means to decay or destroy. Imagine thousands of dead bodies rotting under the hot afternoon desert sun.
Goku, Sanzo, Gojyo: Ewww.
Hakkai: Yes it’s a very gross thought. Our next word is cataclysm. A cataclysm is a disaster like a large flood.
Gojyo: Or an earthquake.
Goku: Or a fire.
Sanzo: Or a hoard of zombies attacking a small village in a horrible undead rage.
Goku: …
Gojyo: ...
Hakkai: (Sweat drop.) Um, not quite. I meant a natural disaster.
Sanzo: Oh.
Hakkai: Anyway our next word is decimate which means to destroy or kill a large part of something.
Kougaiji: As in to decimate a small village. (Summons an elemental demon thing that destroys ¾’s of a village.)
Goku: Hey! You can’t do that.
Kougaiji: Says who?
Goku: Says me! (Summons (staff).)
Kougaiji: Bring it on!
Goku: Fine! Someone hold my power limiter!
Kougaiji: Power…limiter? (Stands there for a minute having flash backs then runs away screaming.)
Goku: Why’d he run?
Hakkai: Just ignore them. Our next word is Decomposition which is like blight. Next is eradication which means to get rid of something.
Sanzo: Like the eradication of two very annoying demons. ( Everyone looks at Goku and Gojyo who are fighting over some insignificant thing.)
Hakkai: Our next word is havoc. Havoc means to cause destruction, confusion, and disorder. Like what happens when Homura doesn’t get what he wants.
Homura: I WANT MY SEX MONKEY! (Buildings fall down and people run screaming.)
Hakkai, Goku, Sanzo, Gojyo: Whoa.
Hakkai: Our next word is Mar. Mar means to damage or spoil the quality of something.
Gojyo: Like when I cut my hair.
(Flashback to three years ago.)
Gojyo: Oh I just love my new hair. (Doesn’t sound convincing.)
Fan girls: We can’t believe you marred your beautiful hair! (Run off crying.)
(Back to present.)
Hakkai: Next is obliterate which means to do away with something completely.
Sanzo: Which is what happens when I shoot a demon. (Random demon comes running up prepared to kill the monk. Sanzo shoots it and it denigrates.)
Hakkai: Very good. Next is pulverize. To pulverize is to pound, crush, or grind into a powder.
Goku: Like what we did to Mr. Six Feet Under’s village. (Flash back to the destruction of Undertaker’s Village.)
Undertaker: My beautiful village!
Hakkai: (Laughing) That was fun. Our last word is stagnant which means lacking in freshness or stale. Like the pork buns Goku is eating.
Goku: (Spits out food.) These are stale! But I got them from Gojyo just now! (Sees Gojyo laughing.) You bastard how could you! I’ll kill you for this you perverted water sprite! (Chases Gojyo screaming obscenities.)
Hakkai: And that concludes this weeks HAKKAI’S VOCABULARY CORNER! Hope to see you next time. (Waves)
