Meme stealing!! Five questions about [insert character]
Found this fun meme over at scrollgirl's DW account and decided to steal/alter it. Since I'm such a huge Daniel nut, I'm just gonna fill it out for him. But if anyone wants to see my take on other characters or fandoms, let me know. :) Fandoms I'm currently competent (semi) are:
Stargate SG1, Stargate Atlantis, Merlin, Harry Potter, Kyou Kara Maou, and Gundam Wing
Name a character from one of the following fandoms and I'll give you:
(a) Three facts about them from my personal fanon.
(b) A reason he/she sucks.
(c) A reason he/she is amazing.
(d) Five things that I'd like to see happen to them.
(e) Five people that I can't ship that character with and why.
Daniel Jackson from Stargate SG1
(a) Three facts about them from my personal fanon.
1) Had a well-adjusted experience in the foster program with loving foster parents and no child abuse/neglect.
2) Is bisexual. He adored Sha're when they were married and he adores the guy/girl he's with totally and absolutely.
3) Is a very talented piano player. He can whip out a sonata as quick as he can a phrase in Goa'uld.
(b) A reason he/she sucks.
Cause sometimes he can be an arrogant and righteous prick.
(c) A reason he/she is amazing.
He's a talented man with many areas of expertise, a principled outlook on life that he's not afraid to speak up for, and he's got a gentle and poetic soul.
(d) Five things that I'd like to see happen to them.
1) KIDS!!! This guy needs to be a papa!
2) A relationship with someone (I'd almost take anyone at this point besides Vala!) that doesn't end in death or intergalactic long distance.
3) Being awarded the Congressional Medal of Freedom. Cause he just deserves it!
4) Get another hug from Jack like in Season 2 episode, The Serpent's Lair.
5) An all expense paid vacation to Tahiti. I can't think of a guy who needs a vacation more.
(e) Five people that I can't ship that character with and why.
1) Vala. The way they met would poison any romantic relationship they ever developed into very unhealthy territory.
2) Teal'c. I can't get over the symbiote thing. Even after Season 6 when he's got Tretonin, I still can't.
3) Hammond. Hammond's way too devoted to family, and just the thought gives me shivers.
4) Apophis. They only way I see this happening is rape or Goa'uld possession. Both are very shiver inducing and not a good set-up for shipping.
5) Nick Ballard. 'Cause this is just creepy and icky as heck!!!!
