I've rediscovered my love of cemetery photography over this past summer. After going the whole time in Idaho only visiting one cemetery, my trip to NY with my Mom in August broke the dam pretty much. I went to five different cemeteries on that trip, though most were for geneology. That didn't stop me from taking pics everywhere. :D Now that I'm settled back home, I've visited the old section of our local large cemetery, Highland, with plans to go back tomorrow. I've already got hankerings now to revisit some already visited ones and to explore our other big local cemetery, Mount Olivet, the local Catholic one. I figure there's gotta be pretty statuary in a Catholic cemetery. :D
However..... there's a huge winter storm expected on Sunday with snow showers expected for three days continuing after that. *sigh* I was enjoying our nice fall weather. But we've gotten like two weeks all told of autumn weather between our hot August and now snowy October. Gah! Where'd our nicely cool (we're talking 50s and upper 40s) autumn go?!?!?!?! Hate snow on roads when I gotta drive..... *grumble* At least it makes for pretty pictures.....
