Not much going on lately. College started, so I'm spending a lot of time on that. I've also started playing my warlock again on WoW. It appears that I had just hit 44, and not realized how awesome Curse of Shadows was. That mistake has been rectified ( Read more... )

Oh yeah... not that I care too much, but what's with the anime ban?

It's not that there's a ban, it's just that the upcoming hosts are going "omg we just had so many anime tournaments" or whatever. SXVI and VII have near-identical character pools (RPG/Fighting with another useless random type thrown in with some restrictions to try to make them unique). NGRT allows anime, but it's a comedic tournament (not to mention the fact that I'm co-hosting it). That takes us up to Fall. Dry gave me a maybe on anime being in RTTales, and SXVIII. Well, we haven't heard anything at all from Draco or Wayne yet about that one :p

I should get off my ass and pre-reg AX... I want inside this time, at least for one day. Last time I went, it was... uneventful. Well, no, I can't say that... dinner was good. Meeting people was good. Walking home sucketh. lol.

When is AX again?

I might not have funds to make it to Jersey over spring break, but I could definitely have funds to head off by the summertime. Its in SoCal, non?

July 1-4. It's in SoCal, yeah (Anaheim to be exact). It's within walking distance of Disneyland :p

Which I would suggest avoiding. Disneyland, I mean. Not AX.
