It's been a busy-as-fuck semester and I'm finally 95 percent done with school. I say 95 because I have one final assignment due next Wednesday, which of course, I'm ignoring until next Monday.
Buuuut. I'm done.
I'm done with school until next semester, which starts mid-January and is my last semester before I graduate.
I'm done with my internship.
I'm done with a Halloween costume and an Adventure Time hat I made just for fun, and ready to seriously commit to my Sakuracon 2012 costume.
I'm done with being immersed in studies and work, and able to socialize with my friends again.
And I'm done with the overtime and forty-hour weeks I was working while my job figured itself out. Our bullshit owners sold the franchise to some new owners from Seattle and Portland who seem as if they'll be much better once they take over at the end of January.
So that's the lowdown here. I got another cat and a "new" boyfriend who's only new in that he isn't someone I've dated before, since we've been dating for three months-ish now. I haven't really kept track; we started dating at the beginning of September so yeah, three months is about right. I enjoy that my ex is crashing, burning, and leaving debris all over the track, while my current boything is going somewhere with his life and treats me with respect. We enjoy such hobbies as watching cartoons together, taking walks and bike rides, cooking random foods and going to places we've never been before to eat, and hanging out with mutual friends since our friends are becoming friends and we all get along (crazy!).
So yep.
But there's a lot more to my life than boys. For example, writing. Now I have time to write again!
And gaming. Now I have time to grind excessively in FFXII again! And continue my Sims 2 genetic experiments!
And baking. I really want to see if I can make chai-flavored cupcakes!
Hope everyone else has been surviving, thriving, and kicking patootie these last few months. Hello, boys. I'm back! (In the words of Randy Quaid's character from that lovely 90s film, "Independence Day." XD)

Because Eliot is prolly my favorite.
