i think it depends on the circumstances. if someone was raped, i would not blame them for having an abortion, but that doesn't mean i myself would have one in that situation. i think abortion is wrong for the most part but i couldnt say i would blame someone for having one with specific circumstances.

I would like to state I am not pro-abortion. I am pro-choice. It has been proven that since roe v. wade there have been less abortions and they have been safe and clean abortions. If roe v. wade was overturned then there would be more abortions and more unsafe ones. Plus, there are circumstances where it is in the best interest of the woman to not go through with a pregnancy and for someone who believes in the right to control what happens to your body, I do not believe it is the governments right to interfere. As a feminist, I feel that if roe v. wade was overturned it would just be another way of suppressing women and their rights. It becomes once again, a double standard.

Thanks for listening Bubby! I ♥ you!

anytime, babe.

but i do have to say this, and it has nothing to due with abortion.
and still may make you mad.

i think feminist women are dumb. say what you want but when it comes down to it, feminist want the advantages of being a mans equal but not the sucky parts.
examples:
the draft
working on there car
yard work
protate cancer

so feminism=crap

but iloveyou

We also want to be payed the same and not stereotyped as if we cant handle something cuz we should be at home with the kids and not have the media make us look like we need a man to survive or that we have to look a certain way to get a man...

men have sucky things like prostate cancer but we have breast cancer
And the draft is sucky period but what is even suckier is a woman cant fight for her country in combat and women can do yard work and work on a car too but American culture doesnt want to recognize that

and it makes me sad

hey, its not the media making women think they have to look a certain way to get a man, its other women.

and well say the canners cancel each other out.
but the draft, women would sue and sue and complain, then sue some more if the draft were to become appliable to them. they can and do fight when they want to, but because they're women, they are forced, and never will be drafted. but they want equality.

saying they're womena and they shouldnt have to go and fight because they're women. see, thats what im saying, women want the benefits and not the draw backs.

i absolutely think women can do what men do, but its not fair that they want to be treated "equally" but only want to be treated to the good stuff and never EVER the bad.

makes me ill, that women are like that.

Well, next time you look at a magazine and the woman isnt passive to a man or doesn't have this 'ideal' body image then say the media has nothing to do with it

I've ready books on this and last semester my professor taught on it.

And I think the draft should be ended period anyways but I do think that women who want to fight should be able too. And only non feminist wouldnt want the draft they would be the one complaining......so technically feminist just want equality.

Well it is National Women's History Month, anyhow, so celebrate it! :)

hehe

well, if i were to say whitneys a feminist would that be correct?
do you consider yourself a feminist?

women buy those magazines
women buy the clothes, jewerly, makeup they're selling

women react to the articles, advertisments
so women are responsible.

would you look at roseanne arnold and think what she had on was cute? NO
but madonna, that girl from rent, and any other person you like probably fit into that "perfect" body type.

so by buying these things are you are infact supporting this image, are you not?

your are very welcome buddy.

i know very little acutally. i am connected with another movement that prays 24 hours a day every day for about 7 years to overturn roe v. wade

and their prayers are definatly about to be answered with this new case. my internship this summer in kansas city is to serve that ministry. my main duty will to pray from 11pm-5am

its going to be sooooo amazing. =D

actually to be clear. the place i am going to this summer is slightly different. same ministry, headed by the same people. the Justice House of Prayer is the one thats been praying only to end aborotions. and the International House of Prayer prays for whatever God says to pray for. and that what Im going to.
