Well, I hope everyone had a merry christmas! Mine was good. Larly and Joe spent the night Christmas Eve (Larly slept in the trundle bed in my room as she has for the past 20-some years) and for once I believe in my life Larly was the first one to wake up (at 7:30 a.m. no less). We had set the rule the night before, though, that whoever got up first (everyone assumed it'd be me, of course) couldn't wake everyone else up until 9.
Anywho, I got some super awesome stuff, let me tell you. A $25 iTunes giftcard, $50 Regal Cinemas giftcard, $50 Target giftcard, $50 Westfield Mall giftcard, and $50 cash from Auntie Barb & Uncle Rob. Joe got me a 12-pack of Irn Bru (yum yum) and Mum also got me Harry Potter 5, Pirates 3, Bourne Ultimatum, and the Pursuit of Happyness. But the best gift of all, I must say, was...
my wii!!!!!!
Yup. Larly and Mum got me a Wii and it's super-duper awesome. I'm actually quite sore from playing it so much already. I also spent the $50 cash and $50 Target giftcard on more Wii stuff (another Nunchuck, Wii armor, "Tony Hawk's Proving Ground", and "Balls of Fury"). They had me go on this scavenger hunt throughout the entire house to find it, which was slightly annoying, and in the end all I could really say was "how did you get it?!" I heart it.
Now that it's 2:20 in the morning I probably should go to bed. Yes, I did in fact spend about 3 hours playing Wii tonight (trying to get the hang of my new games!). Luckily I close tomorrow night so I don't have to be at work until about 4 I think. Yay.
