So I just watched hostel.
WTF.
That movie....
It was intense to say the least.
The pure amount of violence and gore.
It makes you urealize how something like the Roman games could be...
I mean I was repelled and at the same time fascinated by it.
I wanted to puke or cry at times.
But I still watched it.
And I would recomend it to anyone.
Not for the entertainment value, though there is some.
But for the viscreal emotional power it has.
I could preach on and on how this mindless violence is a harbringer of chaos.
How when a society can only gain enjoyment of life though violent deprevity, for instance gladitorial combat or gory movies, it is dieing.
But I won't.
For deep within all of us is a beast that relishes Power.
And exteranalised power is most often achived with violence.
So in a way... It's natural.
