Aralis event
Well choosing Aralis as the game for my return to PC'ing seems to have been a solid choice. My team rocks, and the game has the right atmosphere for me to really get into it.
As the complete and total Noob to the campaign and ruleset that I am, I think I did okay with only one glaring rules gaff... of course it had to be done as a shout on my part. Yay me.
A fun event, and a bit of a challenge for me on the RP side as I'm playing a more support based character. It takes me back to my early NERO roots when I was the team Necr... er, uhm.. Healer. The real challenge is playing a more goodly character than I've played in... uhm... Okay, let me rephrase that; the real challenge is that I'm finally playing a goodly character. I've been playing shady or out right Eveeeel PC's since NERO started back in 88 or 89, it's about time I tried things on the other side.
The armorsmith skill rocked for us as our primary source of healing (oh, the joys of being on a low level team). It was also a cool way to get to meet the rest of the town. I got a lot of different one-minute long RP sessions with a bulk of the town as I repaired their armor. I learned a lot about the game just by chatting with people IG as I did the repair work, lots of fun.
All told, a fun event and I am already eager for the next event.
