Музыкальное

Давно не писала. Видимо, я где-то потерялась.

Вот, делюсь замечательной документалкой о том как монархия в Британии формировала развитие музыки <для тех кто любит классическую музыку и историю, остальным может быть скучно>

Thomas Tallis (c. 1505 - 3 December 1585 by the Gregorian calendar and 23 November 1585 by the Julian calendar) was an English composer who occupies a primary place in anthologies of English church music, and is considered one of England's greatest composers.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Cn7ZW8ts3Y

William Byrd (/bɜrd/; birth date variously given as c.1540 or 1543 - 4 July 1623, by the Julian calendar, 14 July 1623, by the Gregorian calendar) was an English composer of the Renaissance. He wrote in many of the forms current in England at the time, including various types of sacred and secularpolyphony, keyboard (the so-called Virginalist school) and consort music.

John Dowland (1563 - buried 20 February 1626) was an English Renaissance composer, singer, and lutenist. He is best known today for his melancholy songs such as "Come, heavy sleep" (the basis for Benjamin Britten's Nocturnal), "Come again", "Flow my tears", "I saw my Lady weepe" and "In darkness let me dwell", but his instrumental music has undergone a major revival, and with the 20th century's Early Music Revival has been a continuing source of repertoire for lutenists and classical guitarists.

Пример Томкина показал, что тот, кто долго живёт, видит то, чего не стоило бы.

Thomas Tomkins (1572 - 9 June 1656) was a Welsh born composer of the late Tudor and early Stuart period. In addition to being one of the prominent members of the English madrigal school, he was a skilled composer of keyboard and consort music, and the last member of the English virginalist school.

Рыцарь-музыкант или композитор-воин. По-дурацки погиб в столкновении с пуританами. Вильям писал музыку для коронации Карла Первого, его брат - для похорон короля:

William Lawes (April 1602 - 24 September 1645) was an English composer and musician. Lawes spent all his adult life in Charles's employ. He composed secular music and songs for court masques (and doubtless played in them), as well as sacred anthems and motets for Charles's private worship. He is most remembered today for his sublime viol consort suites for between three and six players and his lyra viol music. His use of counterpoint and fugue and his tendency to juxtapose bizarre, spine-tingling themes next to pastoral ones in these works made them disfavored in the centuries after his death; they have only become widely available in recent years.

William Child (1606 - 23 March 1697) was an English composer and organist.
Born in Bristol, Child was a chorister in the cathedral under the direction of Elway Bevin. In 1630 he began his lifetime association with St. George's Chapel, Windsor Castle, becoming first a lay-clerk and, from 1632, Master of the Choristers there until the dissolution of the chapel in 1643. After the Restoration of Charles II in 1660, Child was re-appointed to St. George's, became Master of the King's Wind Music and a Gentleman of the Chapel Royal.
His output of church music is understandably considerable, including a set of psalms (1639), many anthems and 17 service settings. He was often influenced by the Italian 'tastes' of his time, but also wrote anthems in more conventional English forms.
Little secular music of Child survives, namely, a number of catches and instrumental pieces.
