The temperature of the water was on the razor's edge between pleasantly hot and 'too hot augh!'. He assumed the cold weather outside would make such a thing doubly appreciated. When was the last time Colin actually bathed, instead of grabbing a quick shower? It was a lost art, truly. Sepheha longed for the days of communal bathing, when cleansing one's body was done while sharing gossip and ritual. Oh well. The world turned, and there was nothing he could do about it except bring things like this closer to his heart.
The citrus scent of oranges mixed with coconut wafted from the water. Sepheha liked the idea of bathing Colin in organic oils, only to send him home to someone else. A couple, he had said. No matter how fragile, how short, their relationship, that is what it was. No hurting Percy. he had said. Sepheha would not strive to hurt him, but he would most certainly make the effort to inspire insecurity and jealously.
Sepheha, nude now as he had removed his lovely coat, knelt by the side of the bath. It was an old thing, not having been made in the last hundred years or so. It's ivory shape blended in with the rest of the small room, which had not been so much designed as shoved together and hoped to fit.
He let Colin sit still for a moment to become acclimated to the temperature, and to just enjoy being there before speaking. He picked up a little brush from a rounded container full of bathing implements and said, "Your hand, please."
Indeed, the tub was warm enough to get a slight hiss out of him: not a loud one, not really a protest. Just an acknowledgement that the water was hot, and that he needed to get used to it. The last time, actually... was just the other afternoon. With a good book, rather than a handsome fellow. And the joy of fiddling with the knobs of the tub with his feet, soaking up the heat of the tub, eventually turning himself into one giant prune with the salts and oils of his skin having soaked away. "Mmmm?" he asked, blinking a bit- and then remembering- oh right. Hand. He offered his hand over readily, with a slight smile. "I am being spoiled, I think," he accused teasingly.
"You deserve it. Most people do." Scruby-scrub~ ♥ The soft bristle's get rid of any dirt under Colin's fingernails. Unsurprisingly, Sepheha appears to be enjoying this task.
