i just got back from snowboard camp a few days ago and seriously had an incredible time. even though i got severly hurt and almsot died i wish i could go back. whistler is just amazing. its seriously my dream place. I met a bunch of awesome people from all over. the typical day would be wake up arouind 715, roll out of bed tp breakfast, make our way to the lifts, ride 2 lifts, a bus and another lift (45 min total) and then snowboard till lunch and snowboarding till about 230. I went bungee jumping 2 times and did backflips both times. it was a lot better then the front flips i did last year. After snowboarding we would go to down, eat dinner, go in the hot tub, and party. I didnt get to learn much on jumps becuase the first day i dislocated my shoulder and it really sucked so i just stayed on rails. i mainly stayed on the green street rail which i fell in love with. the first day my whole group was hitting it and i have never jumped onto a rail like that before so i was terrified. after a couple tries i got it and couldnt stay off the thing. i learned how to boardslide it, frontside it and attempted to lipslide it. i also learned how to spin onto boxs and do noseslides which are a ton of fun. there were soooo many different kinds of rails there i was seriously in heaven. the last day i was hitting the green rail and i dont remember anything that happened but i was told i was doing a trick, fell and tried to save my shoulder, smacked my head on the rail, had a seizure and was coughing up blood, got knocked on concious. i woke up and my coach, tara and a paramedic were holding me down telling me i was brave and all i could do was cry and hold my shoulder. i had no idea what was going on but my shoulder was killing me. my coach told me i had a seizure and i was freaking out. then i guess they took my in a helicopter to the hospital. i dont remember mych of the helicopter. just the ceiling of it lol. once i got there i had x rays and stuff which i dont remember and then they said i needed a cat scan and had to be transfered to vancouver hospital 2 hrs away. well i go there to find out i fractured my skull! it was seriously the scariest experience i have ever gone through. other then that tramatic event i couldnt say i had a bad time. everything about camp was so much fun. click the link for pics... i have a ton thanks to gill
