Y halo thar! It's been a while, I know. But I've finally climbed the corporate ladder high enough to be trusted with the PC's at work and Im bored as dogshit right now. So... where to start on this entry about my leave of absence from the three people that actually read this thing? I know! How about talking about my stint of unemployment? Or how about my triumphant return to college? Maybe my dog, Kenobi? Hmmm... I have no idea. So much has happened in like the past year or whatever and the only thing that really sticks in my mind is how absolutely fabulous (abfab) the new Star Wars movie is. Bravo Georgie, you've regained my faith in your cute little epic. Unfortunately the Star Wars machine has come to a halt until they release RotS on dvd followed by the prequel trilogy sold as a 3 disc set, then the special editions will drop followed by the ULTIMATE STAR WARS COLLECTION which will include all 6 movies, supplemental material discs and come packaged with a limited edition Jar Jar cockring. I cant fuckin wait for my cockring.
Anyhoo, my mom has left to live with her new hubby-guy in Virginia and the only pseudo-family that I have left in this town is the Norminator, my 90 year old great-grandmother Mommo and my uncle Rick. I guess it's about time that I take the initiative to keep in contact with these people since I won't have those damn nagging constant reminders coming from my mom anymore. It kind of gives me more of an incentive to get the hell outta town and pursue a dream of mine. I figure I'm hitting my mid 20's pretty fast here and I'm kinda experiencing a midlife crisis of sorts. Reality has sunk in a bit in the last few months that the time is coming for my life to change. Granted, I'm here in town for at least another year but I need to start taking steps to secure myself for the upcoming shift change.
Other than that, Rachel and I are still rockin, my dog is just getting bigger and dumber with each passing day, I still play a crapload of video games (which will be a seperate post I'm sure), I retained my 3.0 average last semester and I now work with ol' Fat Nuts and Jeff81 Surprise at the VLC nigga. So that's what has been going on in a nutshell. Oh! I almost forgot! Last Surprise cut a new disc that has 4 hot tracks on it and I believe our CD release is on the 22nd of July, in case anyone wants to get a copy and show some love to our new guitarist!
