Holy crap I've got a boner...

Everyone's aware that the holy trilogy was released on DVD today, right? That being said... I think I've been horny ALL day. I can't get home to watch any of it for 3 long ass hours. Sucks.
But I do have some other news as well. The game that I helped develop, "Kohan II: Kings Of War" is getting an average review rating of 8.5/10 by numerous magazines and gaming websites. This could be good news if it weren't for the market being inundated with above par RTS's this season (damn you Warhammer 40K!). But we have been awarded a handful of editors choice awards and whatnot, so we're expecting to still be in business after our next game is released. The reviews are basically saying our Campaign is weak but our multiplayer is the bread and butter of the game. Special note: One of the biggest thumbs up for the game is given to the AI... Which I took great care to thoroughly test. The programmer that actually coded it worked closely with me since it was my job to ensure the AI was playing effectively. So if you do go buy a copy and you get your ass kicked by the computer, you can thank me later.
We've also been crunching numbers here at the studio and came to the realization that Kohan will sell somewhere between 500k to 600k copies worldwide while our next project, "Axis and Allies" is expected to sell somewhere between 1.2-1.3 MILLION copies. Why the huge difference between the two? Is it gamer preference?
Not so. A huge contributer to the fact that Kohan won't sell and A&A will is because our publisher (Gathering) didnt do crap for advertising or promoting while Atari is taking care of us in that department for A&A.
Axis and Allies went gold which means expect to see a bunch of hoopla over this game in the next few months. We have a deal with Wal-mart that will put us all over the nation and Atari will be giving out copies of our demos in movie theaters.
Beyond that, the new Green Day fuckin rocks. There, I'm finally talkin about somethin that everyone can relate too. Sorry Jeff, you should have just skipped to the bottom of the entry. =) peace.
