V for Vendetta. My new favorite movie.
I didn't think much of it before I rented it, as the description blurb was somewhat uninspiring. Moreover, I hadn't heard anything about it except from friends, but said word from said friends was surprisingly good. So I trusted my friends.

I have so much to say about it and find it difficult to distill all the richness of it down into something short and, at the same time, non-spoilery. I find that I can't. Not yet.
In the end, I'm left with the conviction that I would love, at some point in my life, to create a work that would resonate with people the way this movie resonated with me. Something that goes bone deep. And in the process of striving for that, well - that would be a life well lived.
