What wouldn'tt I do to see Copenhagen again in the winter time, to explore the Danish countryside, to visit Karlslunde again, take a solitary walk down the beach that I used to spend the evenings walking with my newfound friends, just talking, just enjoying the cold Scandinavian sea breeze:
I would go back to the place where we had Self Leadership Week - where we spent the lazy Danish summer in the park after our daily activities just cooking our own meals, camping out, and where I lay on the bridge with Pokpong & Golf (2 Thai trainees) and watched the sunset, the rivers and the mountains and forests in the distance, and I wondered out loud if Thailand looked anything like that?
(I only regret not staying till night time - the stars would have been beautiful)
And after Self Leadership Week was over I stood next to James as we watched the celebratory fireworks that marked the end of everything.
And I would love to see more of Denmark. Coffee in a quaint village, or a cool evening, walking down roads that are thousands of years old, hiking, walking along the beach, past the cliffs, cycling around, kayaking on a nice summer day, enjoying the street side sausages, basking in the nostalgia of walking down Nyhavn again...
I need to go back to Denmark again.
PS: Listening to Stina Nordenstam just makes me feel nostalgic. Heh.
