Christmas 2005
Do yall remember Podawan? The little guy is sitting in my pocket right now :) Podawan is a gift from my mom, but it is also a gift from the Lord for obeying his command, and presenting to him my request for an ipod, waiting patiently, and not badgering it, leaving my requests on my hand, palm wide open. I was thinking of getting the cheapest ipod (shuffle) in the US, but somehow I felt the Lord saying no to that. Well, the different power points in the US just confirmed it and using an adapter for it would look utterly fugly so well, no was no. I was thinking of getting the shuffle for myself when I got back (and had abit more money) and I can't believe it when my mom gave me my wrapped up Christmas present saying "Well, here's your present, a box of mint chocolates" and when I opened it...I couldn't believe I saw the Ipod Nano The sought after, much to die for, Ipod Nano. Probably one of the more expensive ones too.
Ahahaha so see, better than good things come upon those who wait upon the Lord. :) It applies to everything - schools, jobs, future spouses, even ipods.
God is good, not because He got me an Ipod, but He showed me His word is true! :) Hooray for certainty, hooray for freedom and hooray for God :)
