Meetup.
Well, I finally made it to the Western Mass Poly Meetup thing at the diner on Rt. 9. Wow, there were a lot of people, like thirty of them.
Of course, I'm SO good with crowds. :)
But it was good, I saw some people that I see all the time (singingdragon and fireheart) and some people whom I'd met before (mhaille, pixel, sylvari, and ashkes_muse). Seeing people that I have some prior knowledge of tends to help with the shyness a bit.
So I had a thing of chicken fingers with honey mustard (just the fingers, no fries or anything) and ended up talking about history and stuff which was cool. Then I wound up talking about cars with pixel. I'm not much of a car person, but he was friendly and chatty, so I went along.
Afterwards, I got to see the new apartment that singingdragon and fireheart just moved into, which was nice and most of the people from the diner were there. I got to lace a girl named Cassie into her corset (I had bootlaces and was willing to use them) and talked with people and stuff. It was nice.
I'm usually busy on fridays, but it was fun to hang out with different people. Maybe I'll see some of them at the phoenixgames showing of Pirates of the Carribean 2. :)
